LORD OF THE RINGS BOARDGAME - A beautiful boardgame production of J.R.R. Tolkien's bestselling Lord of the Rings literary trilogy. The game itself is illustrated by world-recognized Tolkien artist John Howe and contains an inventive collaborative board game designed by master game designer Reiner Knizia. During the course of the game, players, taking on the roles of the adventuring Hobbits from Lord of the Rings, must collaborate to move the One Ring from the peaceful Shire to its destruction at Mount Doom inside the evil land of Mordor. Rather than playing against each other, players work as a group trying to defeat the game. Only via clever card-play and conservation of resources, will players prevail in their journey across the four game boards. The game difficulty is adjustable so that even die-hard players will find the game a repeat challenge.
