JUSTICE LEAGUE ELITE #1 [of 12] (Joe Kelly/Doug Mahnke/Tom Nguyen) Led by Vera Black - sister of the Elites controversial original leader, Manchester Black - the Elite features both new and classic heroes, including several current JLA members. Black hires the no-nonsense government watchdog Al-Sheikh to monitor the Justice League Elites every move and keep the team honest. The new Elite team of the JLA sets out on their first mission, deep under cover. Its mission: to infiltrate a small brotherhood of assassins gathering to hit a major political target.
