BIGG TIME SC B&W. (Ty Templeton) This is the story of Lester Bigg, a penniless aspiring actor now living on the street. After a freak accident, Lester is able to see his guardian angel, Stavros. The problem is, Stavros has been doing the guardian angel thing for so long that hes become bored and has intentionally sabotaged Lesters life for his own amusement. Now, Stavros must make amends for his misdeeds and help grant Lesters wish for fame, fortune and the American dream within one month or face terrible consequences. Attempting to penetrate the dark heart of the entertainment business, Lester and Stavros face the seedy underbelly of Americas celebrity culture. 128 pp. MR. I read a preview of the first part of Bigg Time, and its hilarious. I cant wait to see what happens in the rest of the book. If you like clear, cartoony art and your humor slightly dark, you should give this book a try. (Roger A.)
