The fact that the fans still like my work after all these years is very humbling, said Ploog. A lot of time an artist worries that he might be forgotten if he can't continue to produce new work. So if you find out the opposite, well, I mean, it doesn't get any better than that. This is why I've been an artist my entire life: For people to hopefully enjoy my work, to be taken into my world, to see things the way I see things. He added with a smile, For better or for worse. The limited, signed and numbered hardcover edition of The Art of Ploog: Volume Two features an exclusive padded cover that reproduces Mike's painting, Hunting Tales, which is an homage to his work on the film John Carpenter's The Thing!
