The greatest writers and artists in comics join with an unprecedented coalition of publishers to create two volumes reflecting on a tragedy that changed the world. Offered separately but released together, each volume consists of dozens of profoundly moving, contemplative - and possibly controversial - contributions about the events of September 11 and their aftermath, as well as stunningly evocative stand-alone pieces of art used as chapter breaks and endpieces.

100% of the publishers' profits and the compensation that would otherwise be paid to the writers and artists from the sale of these books will be donated to organizations for the relief of the victims of the September 11 tragedy and their families (details about the organizations are contained within the September 11 volumes).
