Our shipping charges have continued to increase in all aspects of shipping over the two years since we last increased our rates. This includes everything from fuel and fuel surcharges, to the materials we use to ensure your items are packed securely, and the costs associated with the shipping of late-published items.

We have been absorbing these additional charges, and recently changed our main shipping carrier in an effort to forestall increasing rates. Unfortunately, our costs have continued to rise dramatically, and we must pass along some of these charges to our customers.

Beginning this month, we have added a modest increase to our shipping rates. This increase was made after careful consideration and, while we wish there was another way, we hope you can understand why this is necessary.

Jungle Girl #2 and 3 were not listed on our order form because our distributor did not list them due to a lawsuit. The lawsuit has been settled and, as soon as the books are listed by our distributor, we will list them.

By the time you're reading this, our new Westfield Web site should be up and running. It has a cleaner design and some new features. We've tried to keep the features from the old site that you liked, added some requested new ones, and plan on adding more in the future. Let us know what you think! UPDATE: We are going to continue to Beta test for one more month. We have received many good comments and suggestions that we are working to implement prior to full release. All our copies of Thunderbolts #117 (JUL 07) arrived with printer damage on the cover. Since we are unable to replace so many copies, we must send them out "as is."

As you should be aware, due to a data error, both the Westfield account number and account balance were listed incorrectly on the catalogue last month. You should have received an email or postcard with the correct information. Please be aware that we are double checking all the SEP 07 orders we receive to make sure the account number and account balance are correct. If you sent in your order before you received this information, it will be corrected when it arrives. We apologize for the error and regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

DC has announced content changes in Superman. Superman #668 (AUG 07) now has the story planned for #669, Superman #669 (AUG 07) now features the story intended for #670, Superman #670 (SEP 07) contains the story solicited for Superman Annual #13, and Superman Annual #13 (SEP 07) now includes the conclusion to the Camelot Falls story.

We did not receive our full order of Iron Man #19 (APR 07) from our distributor. We hope they'll arrive soon. We'll send them out with orders as soon as we receive them.

At the end of each month, we remove expired credit card numbers from our records. If you have a credit card on file with us, please make sure you inform us of any expiration date changes as soon as possible. This will help prevent any processing delays for your orders.

Due to the inexactitude of publishers' labeling, it is becoming increasingly difficult to identify material which has merely a mature-theme vs. material which is explicit in nature.

In an effort to avoid selling any inappropriate material to minors, we are changing the methods by which we identify and process items of a mature/adult nature:

1. A signed age statement will now be required for all items labeled as Mature or Adult. You must be at least 18 years old to order this material. Orders placed without an age statement on file will have any Mature or Adult material cancelled and credited.
2. In the WoW catalog, the mature items will be identified by an MR or MA in bold type in the descriptions.

You may request credit for any items that have been on backorder for 90 days or more. If any of these items have not yet been shipped to you and you wish to cancel your order, simply contact us within the next 30 days and we will issue full credit for your order.
