Our final Image Comics preview this week is Tyrese Gibson’s Mayhem, which was created by singer/actor Tyrese Gibson. The comic is written by Mike Le and William Wilson and features knock-your-socks-off cool art by Tone Rodriguez.
A kingpin known as Big X is terrorizing Los Angeles. Only one man can stop him – Mahem. Along with his gorgeous partner Malice, Mayhem sets out to take back the city from those who would destroy it. But are Mayhem and Big X somehow connected?
As you can tell from the preview below, this is a no holds barred, pedal to the metal, over the top action comic. The writing is crisp and the art crackles. This is the perfect read for a sunny summer afternoon. I think it looks fun. What do you think?

looks like alot of fun. I havent been able to get o a computer latley, FINALLY got to see the comic book. I am amazed! Going to buy some over the phone now. Keep strong Bria

I’m loving it. It’s very moving. Lot’s of action within the pictures to catch viewers attention when reading. Mucho bueno(Very good)! ~Keep up the good work you’ll.~

The art’s difficult to follow at times, esp page 1. Then someone gets thrown out a window and there happens to be a stove nearby that flames? And with most of his face burnt away, including losing an ear and an eye, the thug can/still talks? A bit too over-the-top for selling. Sadly, we’ll have to pass.
