Why is “S” before “F”, and “B” after “F”?
We recently received a question about the DC listings in our MAR 10 catalog. DC sends information to our distributor, who in turn sends the information to us. We’ve been placing the items on our print catalog/order form in the original listing order.
This did result in First Wave 3 being listed after Spirit 2, but before Brave and the Bold 34. We figured that they placed the titles in that order for a reason (though we don’t know what it is), so we left them that way.
We’ll go ahead and rearrange the titles in standard alphabetical order for their respective sections in our APR 10 print catalog, but wondered what you guys thought? Should we leave them “as is”, or would you rather have DC items appear in a standard A-Z format? Let us know!

Great googely moogely absolutely YES get those DC listings back into ALPHABETICAL order! I was all over the place trying to fill out my order form this month … and I -hope- I didn’t accidentally skip over something that I had wanted to order. (The non-alphabetizing increases the likelihood of lost revenue on Westfield’s part by customers who miss seeing a title where we think it’s supposed to be — in a standard alphabetical order like they are with the Marvels, Dark Horses, magazines, etc.)
And by “alphabetical”, that means putting all the regular monthly titles in standard A-Z order — whether or not it happens to be a “Brightest Day” crossover (or a “Batman” related title or a “Superman” related title). I should be able to find “Justice Society” right after “Justice League” each month, not (hopefully) discover that it’s been temporarily listed higher up on the order form. The Spider-Man related titles aren’t being grouped together in the Marvel section, so why confuse all of your customers who are buyers of DC comics?
