Before I get into the goods this month, I noticed something interesting this month. Page 260 of Previews has an ad for GG Studio. While I like the look of the art, their website – www.ggstudiodesign.com – doesn’t appear as easy to navigate as I’d like, which seems like an ill omen (as a very short-lived publisher) to me. I welcome being proven wrong, though.

I’ve never played the games, but it didn’t stop me from reading the comics! While we currently seem to have Darkstalkers Volume 1 listed as being currently backordered, I presume it will be available very soon, since it’s relisted in this Previews.

I’ll have to refresh my memory of Yildiray Çinar’s work in Noble Causes Volume 8. While I recall it being good, sometimes switching to one of the Big Two publishers causes the reproduction of their work to suffer.

I’m really hoping for a Definitive Edition of Soulfire, in all honesty, but this (along with Soulfire Volume 1) will make do for now, especially since I’ve been waiting to read Chaos Reign and Dying of the Light soft covers.
