A manga about bread baking?  “Are you serious?” you may say, but it sure is a most enjoyable read.  Here in the US, only 20 of the 26 volumes are out as of the writing of this post.  It begins with a young boy who dreams to make a great bread in Japan.  Once he’s older, he joins a bakery and every now and then, baking competitions come into play. It’s just downright hilarious!  Judges come around tasting each bread, many going over the top and beyond with how amazing the grand delicacy may be.  Scenes like this are a joy, turn out great, and even parody other Anime series to add a kick of fun.  The author also adds in a recipes or two throughout as extras you can try out on your own.  Enjoy some bread today, mmm… yummy! Yakitate!! Japan, Bread Baking at its Finest!
