Bob’s News About Stuff!!!

*Lots of DC News this week! DC/Vertigo is adapting Stieg Larsson’s International best-selling mystery series, The Millennium Trilogy into graphic novels, beginning with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo this November.

*Sadly, the first cancellations of the New 52 titles have been announced. The six books ending with their April issues include: Men of War, Mister Terrific, O.M.A.C., Hawk and Dove, Blackhawks and Static Shock. Then, May will see the launch of 6 new titles including: The return of Batman Incorporated, Earth 2, featuring the Justice Society, Worlds’ Finest, starring Huntress and Power Girl, The Ravagers, Dial H and G.I. Combat.

*In Justice League news, issue #5 will be released 1 week late on Wednesday, January 25 and then Jim Lee will be taking 3 issues off. After Gene Ha’s 2 fill-in issues of #6 and 7, Batman: Arkham City artist Carlos D’Anda provides the art for the Green Arrow-centric issue #8 and then Mr. Lee returns for new arc “The Villains Journey” in #9.
