		<description>Actually (speaking as a 10-year-old who religiously bought Marvels and disdained DC for years after reading the FLASH story containing the caption, &quot;Has the fearless eagle turned chicken?&quot; Even as a kid, I knew a guy who could run on water wasn&#039;t fleeing from a dude in a samurai get-up), it was _two_ months later when Kirby left the FF. Issue # 101 featured FF vs The Maggia (I know, I know -- what happened from page 2 onward?), and # 102 was Jack&#039;s swan-song, the start of a three-part Sub-Mariner story that would be finished by John Romita.

Amazing how this stuff sticks with us down through the years, isn&#039;t it?</description>
