TREE was an '80s comic book that ran well into the '90s. I like to think we were where modern contemporary crime comics began -- Frank Miller did a Mike Hammer pin-up for our first issue. Terry and I are negotiating to do a new graphic novel about Ms. Tree right now, and a prose novel (DEADLY BELOVED) appeared last year from Hard Case Crime. Actually, MS.
