Sonic the Hedgehog

As I think about this question, I can only think of a few comics, but not one in particular that stands out as the first.  Seems like a hard question.  There are so many comics out there, it’s a bit hard for me to remember.  When I think for a bit, the only two series it could have been are either Batman or Sonic the Hedgehog.  Nothing stands out to narrow it down any further than that.  I always see people writing about what their first comic was and how it brought them to the medium.  For me, I just don’t seem to have that.  I believe I could recall the first Anime I watched, but I’m not 100% certain of that either.  So do any of you remember or not?
