Bob’s News About Stuff!!!

We’ve got a Fall TV Update this time with reminders of when a few of your favorite genre shows return! Get out your calendars or DVR remotes now! (Next time we’ll get back to some comic news!)

*The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIII airs earlier than it ever has before (at least it’s in October and not November) on Sunday, October 7 at 8/7pm Central Time on FOX. Click over to the Huffington Post for a preview! Otherwise, new episodes of FOX’s Animation Domination (The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad) begin this coming Sunday, September 30. The Cleveland Show returns Sunday, October 21.

*The Walking Dead returns for its 3rd 16-episode Season on Sunday, October 14 at 9/8pm Central on AMC with the first 8 episodes. The remaining 8 episodes will air in February 2013. In addition, Talking Dead hosted by Chris Hardwick returns the same night at 11/10pm Central and Kevin Smith‘s Comic Book Men (also 16 episodes) returns for its 2nd Season at 11:30/10:30pm!

*South Park returns with seven all-new second-half-of-Season 16 episodes beginning this Wednesday, September 26 at 10/9pm Central Timeon Comedy Central!

*The DC Nation Block returns with new episodes of Green Lantern The Animated Series and Young Justice this Saturday, September 29 at 10/9am Central on Cartoon Network! There’s a new batch of DC Animated Shorts during commercial breaks too! Tune in half an hour earlier for the new morning time slot debut of new episodes of Star Wars The Clone Wars at 9:30/8:30am Centralalso on CN!

*Also this coming Saturday morning at 11/10am Central is the debut of the all-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon on Nickelodeon!

*The Big Bang Theory begins its 6th Season this Thursday, September 27 at 8/7pm Central on CBS!

*FOX’s Fringe begins their last season this Friday, September 28 at 9/8pm Central for the first of its final 13 episodes!

    Treehouse of Horror XXIII is bound to be amazing. I don’t really mind the early Halloween episodes; it helps a TV addict like myself to stretch them out across the month and not get burnt out. My Hopper DVR helps add to the addiction, since it auto-records all of the PrimeTime shows for me—it makes up for everything I forget to set a timer for. A friend that I work with at DISH is excited about the Bob’s Burgers premiere; maybe I should give it a chance, too. Either way, this Fall lineup makes me an excited couch potato.
