I remember seeing Robert Bell's ads when I started collecting in 1981 and sending out for one of Howard Rogofsky's catalogs by the end of that decade. My first Overstreet Guide was purchased in 1985 at a local comic shop in Chicago. It was the owner's own copy, soon to be replaced by the 1986 edition which I also bought. I loved looking at covers and knowing I had a complete list of every comic ever published inside that thick book. It truly is the comic collector's "Bible." I've been with Westfield on and off since 1988 as well. Thanks for the great read, Compadre.
