On Wednesday, September 2 the first half of artist George Pérez’s 1980s run on Justice League of America is collected in a new hardcover. The newest addition to the DC Comics Classics Library is a 176 page book features issues #184-186 and 192-194 plus the volume also contains the art from Pérez’s very rare JLA postcard set. Don’t miss the team’s battles with Darkseid and The Secret Society of Super-Villains, as envisioned by the artist of the recent Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds mini-series.

• The second volume of Perez’ run on Justice League of America is currently scheduled for release in April of 2010.
