Ryan is an import from upstate New York that moved to the Madison area 5 years ago. He works full time at St Mary’s hospital as a Registered Nurse and has been reading comics for 20 years. With his father being a free-lance artist in the late 70′s and early 80′s, Ryan has been known to dabble in artwork, resin casting and model making. He has been working at Westfield Comics for about a year and we don’t have the heart to tell him what decade it is. Almost all of his interests are from the 80′s; everything from Chuck Taylor kicks to Van Halen…not Van Hagar, original Star Wars, and GI Joe.

Chadi has been reading comics since the age of 12. The first comic he collected was based on one of his favorite childhood shows, Robotech. It, along with Batman, were what got him reading monthly comics. He has worked at Westfield since September of 1993 and still works there occasionally. The comics he still keeps up with are Fables, Batman and Detective, as well as anything by Brian Stelfreeze, Gary Frank, and James Jean. He also love books by Brian K Vaughn, Frank Miller and Peter David. His favorite movie is Empire Strikes Back and his favorite character, of course, is Vader. He has finally has caught onto the greatest show ever… Heroes! He loves that it not only spotlights Tim Sale’s amazing artwork but it has an amazing storyline! In addition to all that, he loves to play video games. He has owned every console system that Nintendo has ever put out. He loves to play all of the retro (8-bit) games as well as all Mario, Zelda, and Metroid incarnations. If you ever want to discuss any of these topics at greater length, look him up at the store!!
