THe Countdown to Halloween Comicfest!

What is Halloween ComicFest? Well, it’s kind of a mashup of Free Comic Book Day and Halloween with a dash of OctoberFest! (except, no beer)

This year, for the first time, the Comic industry is joining together to turn Halloween into a ComicFest for readers of all ages on Wednesday, October 31st, from 10am – 9pm at our Westside location in High Point Center and from 11am – 7pm at our Eastside location on Willy Street.

Just like Free Comic Book Day there’ll be Free Comics! Titles that were made available just for the occasion include: Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man/Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, DC’s Batman Adventures/Scooby-Doo, IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Fantagraphics’ Tales From The Crypt! We’ll also have a few other choices and, if you promise not to T.P. the store, we’ll have another offering or two for your Trick or Treat Bags! AND, it’s Halloween! So, if you come in costume, you might get another surprise, BUT you have to put a little more effort into it other than just a T-Shirt! Heck, that’s what WE wear everyday!

We’ll keep you up-to-date of any other additions to our very first Halloween ComicFest, but we hope everyone can make it in before, after or during their usual Tricks and Treats!

Click over to the official Halloween ComicFest site for more info!
