League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century #3 – 2009 is the final chapter of their latest adventure that finds the end of the world being caused by the birth of an Anti Christ known as the Moonchild; J. Michael Straczynski and Andy Kubert are the creative team on Before Watchmen: Nite Owl #1 (of 4); Mark Millar and John Romita Jr are still the creative team on Hit-Girl #1 (of 5) telling the story of what happened to young Mindy McCready in-between Kick Ass and Kick Ass 2; Avengers VS X-Men has 2 tie-ins this week in Wolverine & the X-Men #12 and X-Men Legacy #269; crime novelist Gregg Hurwitz (Penguin: Pain & Prejudice) takes over the writing chores on Batman The Dark Knight #10; to tie-in to his appearance in the new Amazing Spider-Man movie, Amazing Spider-Man #688 begins a new story arc featuring the Lizard; Gilbert Hernandez tells a tale right out of the headlines of  a new designer drug that causes zombie-like side effects in Fatima: The Blood Spinners #1 (of 4); IDW’s latest over-sized Artist Edition Hardcover is of David Mazzuchelli’s Daredevil: Born Again; two count them TWO, helpings of Brian Clevinger’s creation in Atomic Robo: Real Science Adventures #3 and Atomic Robo: Flying She-Devils of the Pacific #1 (of 5) and celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain writes his first graphic novel combining food and martial arts in Get Jiro!
